Why religions banned - smoking, drinking and drugs ? - The Hindu religion imposed a ban on - smoking, drinking and using drugs and stamps them as ‘maha patak’, the ‘great sin’. There are few more ‘sins’ in the list that come under ‘maha patak’ but, the article is limited to the discussion exclusively on - smoking, drinking and using drugs.

Idol - growing in Temples ! - What it means ? - Shiva-ling, the idol of the lord, Shiva – is often said to be growing in the temples by the elders. But, the recent reports claim that [ex; in Sri-sailam temple] the Shiva-ling is indeed gradually decreasing in size! These two are in fact perfect contradictions!
